Tribal Mask Necklace

“CALM YOUR MIND AND BREATHE. THIS IS JUST A CHAPTER, IT’S NOT YOUR WHOLE STORY.”

Sterling silver tribal mask necklace, set on a lightly oxidised sterling silver chain.

This design was inspired by the peace-inducing tribal masks I have admired on my travels. Looking at them calmed me, and I wanted to create a wearable version; a tactile comforting amulet for a calm mind when it’s needed.

The mask design is etched deeply into the sterling silver, before being oxidised, brushed and polished to a subtle shine. The pendant measures approximately 1.25″ tall and hangs from a lightly oxidised sterling silver belcher chain, in your chosen length. A great everyday piece for both men and women.

This is such a tactile piece with a restful, spiritual presence; comforting to touch and hold, and a reminder that a calm mind is the only true refuge from the storms that threaten. Master your mind and you can master anything. Let peace in.

As every piece is made individually by my hand, there may be very small differences in forging, making yours, in some small way, unique to you.

Part of my “Warriors & Relics” collection, inspired by ancient petroglyphs, talismans and totems. Elegant yet rugged pieces that could have been forged in fires thousands of years ago and only recently unearthed. These pieces represent strength and endurance, not just in the physical realm, but an inner strength to keep you focused forward to where you need to be.

Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.

I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
