Bent Arrow Studio Policies
Payment:
All my payments are processed by PayPal via their secure online system. No payment details are taken or stored on my website. You can pay using a PayPal account or credit/debit card, regardless of whether you have a PayPal account or not.
Processing Time:
I aim to dispatch orders (excluding custom orders) within 3-5 working days. If you require your order urgently, please let me know and I will do my utmost to help.
Delivery:
Postage and packaging within the UK is either by insured Next Day Special Delivery, First Class ‘Signed For’ or Tracked 24, depending upon the value of your order.
International Orders:
I ship worldwide by Royal Mail International Tracked shipping.
Customs and import taxes may apply. I am not responsible for these charges, nor any delays due to customs in your country.
Returns & Exchanges:
I happily accept returns and exchanges* under the following terms. Please contact me within 3 days of delivery and ship items back to me within 14 days of delivery.
I advise that UK returns should be sent by Special Delivery for your protection. International returns should also be returned via an insured and tracked method.
Please not that if you are returning goods from outside the UK, you must complete and attach a customs form to the parcel stating that the package contains ‘RETURNED GOODS’. Please also write ‘RETURNED GOODS’ clearly on all sides of the parcel. Should this not be done, a customs fee will be levied on re-entry to the UK and this will be deducted from your refund.
The buyer is responsible for all return postage costs.
*For hygiene reasons, and under UK regulations, I cannot accept a return of, or offer a refund for, pierced earrings.
Caring for Your Jewellery:
Any patina on jewellery is not permanent, and with time can wear off or change. Patina may also change with exposure to air, moisture, body chemistry and chemicals such as perfumes or creams. It is recommended to take jewellery off before bathing, and this is especially important for pieces with fancy patina, gemstone beads or cabochons. A simple polishing cloth for jewellery will keep your jewellery shiny and clean. Do not use dips or liquid polishers as they will remove details and patinas and damage stones. Gemstones are natural, and may therefore have natural inclusions and flaws. Treat gemstones and cabochons gently.
Hallmarking:
I am registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office who have been testing and hallmarking precious metals since 1457. As a registered artist you can purchase with confidence, knowing that all my designs comply with UK hallmarking legislation.

All items are constructed from solid metal and natural gemstones, and may have small objects, delicate or sharp parts. Bent Arrow Studio does not accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage arising from the use, misuse or negligent supervision of such items. In particular, such items are not toys and are unsuitable for small children and should be kept out of reach and fully supervised at all times.
