Why the name Bent Arrow Studio? Well, after a difficult period in my life I decided to get an arrow tattoo. You know the old saying, “An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. “ It seemed appropriate, motivating, something to inspire me when things got tough. On removing the bandage I noticed something was just a little “off”. My arrow was slightly……bent. The laughter started, as I realised that it suited me perfectly. After all, my path in life has never been a straight one. Adversity is definitely going to blunt and bend my arrow somewhat. It doesn’t mean I won’t move forwards, just that maybe my path will be a little winding sometimes. So now I love my ever-so-slightly bent arrow. It truly represents me, and I want it to now represent my jewellery pieces. Raw, organic, meaningful; there to help you make it through whatever life throws at you.
