Sterling Silver Citrine Earrings

“PERFECTION IS SHALLOW, UNREAL AND FATALLY UNINTERESTING.”

Organic sterling silver circle earrings, with sunny citrine gemstone drops.

These pretty earrings measures just over 1 1/2″ from top to bottom. The sterling circles measure 3/4″ in diameter. The hoops have been hammered for an organic, tactile feel, and the texture makes them catch the light beautifully. The citrine faceted briolette gemstones have a wonderful lemon-honey tone. The earrings hang from simple sterling silver ball ear wires.

The quote above comes from Anne Lamott, and is perfectly suited to my semi-precious gemstone jewellery pieces. Gemstones are all one of a kind, and each one has natural inclusions, or “imperfections”. Every natural gemstone is a little miracle created by nature, and as with ourselves, each one is perfectly imperfect.

For more information about gemstones and their inclusions or “natural flaws”, read my blog post here: www.bentarrowstudio.com/natural-gemstones-perfectly-imperfect/

Part of my “Circles & Coins” collection. The circular shape represents my continuous movement between home and the far off places I love, and how both these elements of my life make me whole.

Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
