Organic Bronze Hoop Earrings

Organic ancient bronze and sterling silver circle earrings.
The ancient bronze circle hoops measure approximately 1″ in diameter. Hand-forged for an organic feel, they hang from sterling silver ball ear wires. The earrings measure approximately 1.5″ from top to bottom. All loops are soldered for strength.
I love the soft rosy pink tones of bronze against the cool silver. Light yet strong, perfect to wear every day to remind you that you are whole, you are free, you can roll with the punches.
Part of my “Circles & Coins” collection. The circular shape represents my continuous movement between home and the far off places I love, and how both these elements of my life make me whole.
The use of bronze in jewellery goes back as far as recorded history allows us to look. It inspired a whole age named after it. Strong and hard-wearing, it has a wonderful pinkish glow that reminds me of rose gold, only more durable. It is one of my favourite metals to work with.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
