Organic sterling silver ancient coin pendant, set on a sterling silver chain.
This organic little sterling coin pendant measures just under 1/2″ in diameter, and has been brushed, lightly oxidised to highlight all the fine detailing, and polished for just the right amount of shine. It hangs from a lightly oxidised 16″ sterling silver chain. All loops are fully soldered for strength.
My coin designs are based on old coins from ancient civilisations. They intrigue me. Where have they been? What have they seen? Who has held them? Some of my designs are inspired by many diverse pieces I have seen on my travels. Others, like this particular one, may be impressions etched onto silver from a photo of an old coin, and some are cast directly from authentic antique coins and recreated in precious metals.
A delicate but unusual piece, perfect to wear every day to remind you to always, always, live in the moment, for it will soon enough be gone and in the past.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
