Sky Flight Crow Charm Bracelet

“LET GO. BREATHE FREE.”

Sterling silver crow charm bracelet.

This gorgeous piece features an array of hand-stamped crows (or ravens), in a gorgeous bohemian drop charm design. The main focal section of the bracelet has been stamped with a scattering of crows, then given an earthy, textured finish and selectively hammered for an ancient feel.  Oxidised and brushed to highlight all the details, it is then lightly polished for just the right amount of shine. Two earthy charms dangle from the side at varying lengths, hand stamped with more crows. My signature hammered charm hangs from the end of the chunky belcher chain. All loops are soldered closed for strength and durability.

This solid sterling silver bracelet has a wonderfully tactile feel, and is fully adjustable to 8.5″ long. Simply fasten the catch at the point that suits your wrist. It looks beautiful alone or layered with other pieces. You really won’t want to take this off.

I love looking up at the sky and watching the crows fly overhead. Soaring around, they look so carefree; just watching them makes me breathe easier. I wanted to make a piece that really captured this feeling. This bracelet does just that, and has so much movement when worn; it catches attention from all angles.

Whilst I love all our feathered friends, corvids are my favourite birds. I have a family of crows that visit my studio frequently and happily accept a peanut or two. There is a wealth of mythology surrounding ravens and crows in numerous cultures. Native Americans see the raven as a symbol of transformation, associated with the creation of the world and the gift of sunlight to mankind. For the ancient Greeks, the crow was a symbol of good luck and communication, and for others, ravens are credited with teaching mankind how to deal with grief. In Welsh folklore, the raven was seen as a guardian of Britain. The presence of ravens at the Tower of London is an echo of this legend, and the prophecy says that if the ravens ever leave the tower, Britain will fall. Whatever your belief, these beautiful birds can’t help but bring joy with their cheeky antics and soaring beauty.

Let this totem crow bracelet be your own personal amulet for freedown, for courage, for letting go.  A wearable reminder to look to the sky and breathe free. May it lift your heart, and bring sunlight to your soul.

As each piece is made individually by hand, there will be very slight differences in forging, which will make yours, in some small way, entirely unique to you.

Part of my “Wild Earth” collection, a celebration of the natural world, its landscapes and wild inhabitants. These pieces are created as a reminder that there is no better designer than Nature, and to find enough beauty to fill the soul, we need only look around us.

Designed and lovingly created in my studio in Moray, Scotland.

I work in sterling silver, ancient bronze, copper and brass, with natural semi-precious gemstones. I make pieces which are perfect for layering together, mixing and matching, so you can grow your collection and choose your pieces according to your mood, or the inspiration you want to gain that day.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
