Sterling silver sunshine shield pendant, on a sterling silver chain in your chosen length.
The sterling silver pendant has been imprinted with a wonderfully intricate pattern. The pattern calls to mind expanding sun rays, sunflowers and shells, and has the look and sense of an ancient shield. It seems to radiate light, and has a calming spiritual presence.
The pendant measures just under 3/4″ in diameter. It was hand-forged, patterned and oxidised, before being brushed and lightly polished for a subtle gleam. It hands from a lightly oxidised sterling silver belcher chain.

Part of my “Organics & Textures” collection, inspired by the natural world and the shapes and textures we see around us every day. Tree bark under the hand, sandstone underfoot, patterns on a leaf catching the eye. These pieces represent an emotional connectedness to the natural world. We evolved in nature, it is in our DNA. As busy lives force us to spend less time in it, it is important to carry a reminder of what majesty is out there waiting for us.

Each piece is unique. Whilst I may create similar pieces, as every piece is made individually by hand, no two will ever be the same. I am registered with Edinburgh Assay Office for precious metal work.
